Students in Year 10 will attend a play to help enhance their understanding of different creative forms. In addition, students will use this theatre experience in class to produce a review to meet their persuasive task requirements. The play is a musical that explores the issues surrounding celebrity fan culture and teen culture including society expectations, identity and interpersonal relationships.
This theatre experience was meant to occur in 2020, but due to COVID-19, we were not able to attend the planned event. This is a valuable experience for the students in English as all VCE English subjects also explore this form in their studies.
Students will need to have a face mask with them in line with current COVID-19 Restrictions.
Students should bring a water bottle, a snack and a packed lunch. In addition students should bring a pen to write notes, post show.
Students will need to make their own way to the forecourt of Arts Centre Melbourne and students will be dismissed from the Arts Centre Melbourne.
