Year 10 English Excursion : Fangirls

Students in Year 10 will attend a play to help enhance their understanding of different creative forms. In addition, students will use this theatre experience in class to produce a review to meet their persuasive task requirements. The play is a musical that explores the issues surrounding celebrity  fan culture and teen culture including society expectations, identity and interpersonal relationships.

This theatre experience was meant to occur in 2020, but due to COVID-19, we were not able to attend the planned event. This is a valuable experience for the students in English as all VCE English subjects also explore this form in their studies.
Students will need to have a face mask with them in line with current COVID-19 Restrictions.
