Students have been preparing specific pieces in Big Band rehearsals, that will be assessed by adjudicators at the VSMF. Students receive feedback from the adjudicators, and this is a wonderful performance opportunity for students.

Students will depart Nossal at 1:45pm via bus, and travel to the Hawthorn Arts Centre. Students will leave the venue at 6:30pm, with an estimated return time of 7:30pm to the Nossal High School, where students must be promptly picked up by a parent/guardian. Students will need to bring their instrument with them, as well as a drink bottle and snacks (there probably won’t be access to a microwave at dinner time, so it is advised to bring some kind of snack/dinner that doesn’t require heating up).

Students will be transported by bus to the event and back to Nossal High School.
