Rotary District Mini Conference – “Celebrating Being Together”

Nossal music students have been invited to perform at the local Rotary District Mini Conference, which is being held in the Nossal Gymnasium. Students will be providing pre- and post-dinner entertainment for the Rotary guests. Rotary is an organisation that supports our school by donating their time and money, through their fundraising efforts. This is a wonderful opportunity for students to gain performance experience, whilst showcasing their musical talents and giving back to our local community.

Those students that will be performing are: Jazz Combo, Chamber Strings, VCE Music students and the Bollywood Dance group.

Additional Information:

We will meet in MU1.

Dinner will be provided. (please fill out dietary requirements on permission form)

Students need to be dropped off and picked up promptly at the start/finish times.

Please bring your instrument, music, costume (for dancers), and water bottle.

Dress Code:

Performance Attire. This means concert blacks for musicians, which is black clothing from top to bottom including shoes (no bare legs or midriffs etc). Dancers may wear concert blacks and change into their dance costume.

Transport:

Students are to be dropped off and picked up from school promptly at the start/finish of the event. Written parental permission is to be provided to Clare Budd if students will be making their own way to/ from this event.
