As part of our studies on Marketing (Unit 2 AOS 2), students will travel to both South Melbourne & Queen Victoria Markets and undertake an Marketing Investigation Task. This will form part of their Marketing Plan Assessment. Students will examine marketing practices from a range of different stalls. This will assist them with their own Market Day Stalls.
Moreover, they will make comparisons of the two different markets to gain a deeper understanding of how Market Stalls operate.
Students will need to meet at South Melbourne Market no later that 9.15am. Students will work with their groups in undertaking their marketing investigation task. At 11.00am, students will travel together to Queen Victoria Market. Students also can purchase lunch and have a lunch break there. Students will be dismissed from the Queen Victoria Market no later than 2.30pm. Queen Victoria Market closes at 3.00pm.
